Metro Exodus – 18 minutes of E3 2018 gameplay
It has been confirmed that Metro Exodus will not lose it’s single-player story-driven focus, with early gameplay leading many to believe that Metro Exodus is a vast open world. In many ways, Metro Exodus will be like its predecessors, but with large open levels, offering players with the option to tackle their objectives as they see fit and offer almost Crysis (the Original Crysis) like level design.Â
When travelling across the Russian wastes, players will need to gather materials to upgrade their weapons and equipment, tackle new mutant types that were not present in the Moscow Metro system and take on human enemies that will react completely differently to their mutated counterparts.Â

Metro Exodus is set to release on February 22nd, 2019 on PC, Xbox One and PS4. The PC version of the game is also expected to make use of DirectX Ray Tracing (DXR), which means that the title will also support DirectX 12 on PC.Â
