Microsoft releases its first gameplay for Age of Empires 4

It has been over a decade since the last Age of Empires game released, and now the series is back and better looking than ever. That’s right, Microsoft has released Age of Empires 4’s first gameplay trailer, revealing that the game will take place in the Medieval era and feature both the English and Mongol civilisations. 

Sadly, Microsoft has not revealed Age of Empires 4’s release date, though it is expected to release both as a standalone title and as part of Xbox Game Pass. 

Microsoft has created a new games studio that’s dedicated to Age of Empires. This studio is called World’s Edge, though the trailer below also includes Relic Entertainment’s logo.
