Microsoft has announced that its Xbox Games Showcases, the company’s E3 replacement event, will b hosted on July 23rd at 5 PM UK time 9 AM PT and midday Eastern time.

This event will showcase a tonne of future games from Xbox, including titles like Halo Infinite, and unannounced titles from Microsoft’s first-party games studios.

At their Xbox Games Showcase, Microsoft has an opportunity to sell gamers on their plans for the next console generation, highlighting the benefits of the Xbox ecosystem and any unique features that the Xbox Series X may possess. Gamers can expect Xbox Game Pass to be highlighted, as well as the backwards compatibility features that Microsoft’s Xbox Series X system will possess.

While it is possible that Microsoft will reveal the pricing and release date of its Xbox series X console, it is also possible that Microsoft will reveal its plans to release a more affordable next-generation Xbox console, Microsoft’s long-rumoured Lockhart system.

PC gamers should note that all new games from Xbox Games Studios are coming to both PC and Xbox platforms, which means that much of Microsoft’s Game Showcase will apply to both platforms. This will make Microsoft’s event a must-watch for many PC users.

Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase will be streamed on YouTube Gaming and Twitch.
