Capcom has announced that on April 4th, the PC version of Monster Hunter World will receive title update 5.2, which will add several new features to the game alongside a free DLC pack for the game.

After this update, Monster Hunter World will gain support for a new High-Resolution Texture Pack DLC, which will be available for free on Steam and take up around 40GB of HDD space. This texture pack can be used to enhance Monster Hunter World’s visuals, but only for those who have graphics cards with enough VRAM to cope.

To use Monster Hunter World’s High-Resolution Texture pack, Capcom has listed a graphics card with 8GB or more VRAM as a requirement, which is excellent news for users of 8GB+ graphics cards like the RX 580 or GTX 1070 or over.

In addition to this, a new Anti-Aliasing option will be added to Monster Hunter World’s advanced graphical settings, allowing “TAA+FXAA” to be used, merging the capabilities of both AA types to eliminate more jagged edges.
