Monster Hunter World mod addresses low resolution texture bug
Monster Hunter World mod addresses low-resolution texture bug
Graphical downgrades? On PC? Say it ain’t so. Well, Monster Hunter: World’s PC version currently contains a bug which prevents the game from loading its highest resolution textures, preventing weapons, armour and other aspects of the game world from looking as good as it should.Â
Thankfully, a modder called MHVuse has already created a mod, or as he calls it “a crude workaround”, that addresses the game’s “blatantly obvious texture issue”. Right now this band-aid fix only address texture issues in players, NPCs, armour and weapons, and can present other graphical problems for some users.Â
In the three weeks after Monster Hunter: World’s PC release, Capcom has not commented on the game’s texture issues, making it unclear whether or not the developer is working on a patch.Â
