Project Cars 2 reportedly runs at 4K 80+ FPS on a Titan XP

Slightly Mad Studios has recently lifted an NDA for Project Cars 2 WMD2 (World of Mass Development) members, allowing those who have early access to the game to release screenshots, videos and other information regarding the game’s most recent build.

This has allowed the NeoGAF user “Rayge” to deliver some interesting performance metrics for the game, stating that the game typically runs at 120FPS at 4K Ultra settings in an 8-car race on his i7 6850K and Titan XP graphics card. Moving to more demanding portions of the game, on a nighttime track with rain, the game is reported to run at 80-90FPS, which is great news for those that want to achieve 60+FPS at max settings.

Judging from this performance data, it looks like Project Cars 2 will perform a lot better than its predecessor, despite having better visuals and more detailed environments.

Right now Project Cars 2 is set to be released on September 22nd.
