PS5 and PC versions of Until Dawn are reportedly in the works

Until Dawn may finally be coming to PC

Just days after The Hollywood Reporter revealed its film adaptation, rumours have started circulating that the PlayStation 4 exclusive Until Dawn will be coming to PC and PlayStation 5.

Supermassive’s horror game was a huge hit when it launched on PS4 in 2015. The game’s success resulted in the creation of The Dark Pictures Anthology and The Quarry. These successors all launched on PC and other non-Sony gaming platforms. Only Until Dawn being locked to Sony’s PS4 platform.

Until Dawn was a interactive drama where players take control of a group of friends on Blackwood Mountain. A killer is on the loose, and the group need to survive until rescue arrives at dawn. Players, though their actions, can cause characters to survive or die throughout the course of the story.

Until Dawn’s new version has reportedly been in development for “at least a year”. Dealabs has reported that the game is due to be revealed within the next 15 days. At this time it is unknown if this new version will be a port/remaster of the 2015 original or a remake. Until Dawn’s new PC/PS5 versions will reportedly be revealed alongside new Death Stranding 2 information.
