PUBG has surpassed 3 million concurrent players on Steam

Player Unknowns Battlegrounds has now surpassed 3 million simultaneous players on Steam, making the game more popular than Steam’s remaining top 10 titles combined by a significant margin.
This achievement comes one day after the game’s first update since the game’s release from Steam Early Access, an update which addressed several lag-related issues that were previously present within the title.

PUBG continues to defy logic with its success on both PC and Xbox One, releasing as a relatively unknown title to become one of 2017’s most successful releases, finding popularity amongst streamers and consumers alike.

This milestone comes shortly after the anti-cheating company BattlEye revealed that they have banned over 1,500,000 players from Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds, showcasing how widespread cheating can be within the game. This number does not include band made by Bluehole/PUBG Corp directly.
