Quantic Dream to Bring Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human to PC
At this time none of Quantic Dream games has a release date on PC, but we do know that Heavy Rain, Beyond Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human will all be coming to the platform. This represents a massive shift for the developer, who has kept their games as Sony/PlayStation exclusives for around twelve years.Â
This announcement comes around two months after the developer confirmed that they planned to release their future games as multi-platform titles, a move with comes thanks to an investment from the Chinese publisher NetEase games. In the future, Quantic Dream plans to deliver their games to a broader audience, releasing on “all platforms where there is an audience that can enjoy our experiences”.
 Â
Our objective is to be present on all platforms where there is an audience that can enjoy our experiences, We will, of course, continue developing on PlayStation, a platform that we know very well after having worked with Sony for 12 years, but we will also be present on all other relevant platforms.
All three of Quantic Dream’s planned Epic Games Store exclusives will be timed exclusives for the platform, giving the developer the change to sell the game on alternative storefronts like GOG and Steam one year after each game’s Epic Store launch.Â
