Rebellion Games releases Strange Brigade’s Minimum PC system requirements

Rebellion Games’ Strange Brigade is set to release in the coming week, bringing players into 1930’s Egypt where an evil known as “Seteki the Witch Queen” has risen from a nameless tomb after 4,000 years of rest.

Against the monster stands the Strange Brigade, with malevolent monsters, terrifying traps and perilous puzzles standing in the way of victory. The game’s campaign can be tackled solo or with teams of 2-4 players in co-op, offering a unique gameplay experience with a 1930s matinee movie style that is somewhat reminiscent of the Indiana Jones series.

On the tech side, we know that Strange Brigade will support the Vulkan API, building upon Rebellion’s experience working on AMD’s Mantle API and Microsoft’s DirectX 12 API. This API should allow Strange Brigade to run well on a variety of hardware across several operating systems, unlike DirectX 12, which is exclusive to Windows 10. The Vulkan API is also available on Linux, though at this time Strange Brigade is only listed with support for Windows 7 64-bit or newer Microsoft operating systems.

At this time, Rebellion has only released Strange Brigade’s minimum system requirements, which call for an Intel core i3 2100 processor, 4GB of system memory and a graphics card with 2GB of VRAM that offers similar or greater performance than AMD’s HD 7870 and Nvidia’s GTX 750 Ti.

MINIMUM:

OS: 64-bit Windows 7, 64-bit Windows 8.1 or 64-bit Windows 10
Processor: Intel CPU Core i3-2100 or AMD equivalent
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7870 (2GB) or NVIDIA GeForce 750 Ti (2GB)
Storage: 35 GB available space

Strange Brigade releases on PC, Xbox One and PS4 on August 28th.
