Red Dead Redemption is coming to PC this month
Red Dead Redemption is coming to PC on October 29th
Rockstar Games has announced that Red Dead Redemption will arrive on PC on October 29th. This new version of the game will include the game’s Undead Nightmare standalone expansion and several PC-specific enhancements.
On PC, the game will support native 4K resolutions at up to 144Hz and ultra-wide 21:9 and 32:9 monitors. Furthermore, it will support HDR10 and full keyboard/mouse controls. Additionally, it will feature support for AMD FSR 3.0, DLSS 3.7 and Frame Generation. The game will also support adjustable draw distances, shadow quality settings, and more.
Since Red Dead Redemption was first released in 2010, today’s gamers shouldn’t expect cutting-edge visuals from this new version. While the PC version will support higher resolutions, framerates, and graphical quality settings than the original PS3/Xbox 360 versions, the game will still look dated. Even so, Red Dead Redemption is a classic, and it is great to see it finally coming to the personal computer.
Unlike its successor, RDR will be launching to PC on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Rockstar Store on the same day. No early exclusivity to the Rockstar Store!
