Resident Evil 7 receives a colossal price decrease

Almost a year has passed since the release of Resident Evil 7 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, releasing with positive reviews as the series returned to its horror roots. Despite the game’s critical success, the game did not sell as well as Capcom originally anticipated, reaching the game’s 4 Million sales target a full seven months later than expected.

Since the game’s release, the title has received a lot of DLC, frequent updates and a free “Not a Hero” DLC, as well as a new Gold Edition that includes all of the game’s season pass content.

Capcom has now decreased the cost of Resident Evil 7 by over 40% in the UK, pricing the game at £25 on Steam. The game also has a temporary 20% discount on top of that to make the game £20, which is a steal given the game’s high ratings from both fans and critics.
