Grand Theft Auto V continues to be overwhelmingly popular on PC, so much so that the game almost always occupies Steam’s top 10 list for concurrent players, continuing to earn Rockstar money years after release thanks to the game’s compelling multiplayer modes and shark card monetisation system.

With this in mind, Rockstar would be mad to keep Red Dead Redemption 2 away from the PC platform forever, with many theorising that the game would release on PC a year after its console debut, much like GTA V.

So far, Rockstar has been tight-lipped about the possibility of a PC release of Red Dead Redemption 2, though given the frequent delays of the console version we can see why Rockstar has remained silent.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to release on October 26th on Xbox One and PS4, with the game also shipping with support for Xbox One X and PS4 Pro enhanced consoles.

While this PC listing could be a simple mistake, Rockstar would be leaving a lot of money on the table by keeping the series as a console exclusive, especially given the architectural similarities between today’s console and PC hardware.
