Retail listings for Spyro: Reignited Trilogy have appeared online, releasing images, boxart and a release date for the long rumoured remaster.

Amazon Mexico has listed the game on PS4 with a September 21st release date, while Amazon India has released boxart for an Xbox One version alongside several screenshots for the title.

Right now it seems likely that the Reignited Trilogy will release simultaneously on several console platforms, though at this time no PC or Nintendo Switch versions have leaked. If this box art is correct, the Reignited Trilogy will be remastered by Toys for Bob, an Activision owned developer who has been porting the Crash Bandicoot: N’Sane Trilogy over to the Nintendo Switch, making it seem likely that this Spyro Remaster will also make it to Nintendo’s platform.

This remaster will include all three original Spyro games, including Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. The game will include over 100 levels with improved graphics and controls.

Below are several leaked screenshots for Spyro’s remaster, showcasing a massive leap in graphical quality over the series’ PS1 originals, while also maintaining the same overall look and feel of the game.

Activision has not officially revealed the Spyro Reignited Trilogy at this time, though recent web domain purchases from Activision seem to indicate that an announcement is imminent.
