Star Wars: Battlefront II’s free Resurrection Campaign is out

When Star Wars: Battlefront II was initially released players were disappointed at the game’s short single-player mode and its cliffhanger ending. The campaign lasted around six hours and had an ending that just said: “see you in a few weeks”, rather than provide a satisfying conclusion.

Now the first bit of free campaign DLC for Star Wars: Battlefront II is here, starting at where the original game left off, at a time that is close to the start of The Last Jedi. Battlefront II’s Resurrection campaign can be completed in around an hour and a quarter, making it a rather short addition to the game, though it does beef up the game’s overall campaign length significantly.

I will not go into spoilers for this DLC, though I will say that it ends with Inferno Squad receiving a new mission, hinting at more campaign DLC to come.

This DLC comes as part of Battlefront II’s “The Last Jedi” content updates, though this DLC sits in around Episode 7 in the Star Wars timeline, so don’t expect any spoilers for The Last Jedi.
