2017’s Star Wars Battlefront will feature a single-player campaign
EA has confirmed that their next Star Wars Battlefront will feature a single-player campaign and will feature characters and heroes from multiple Star Wars Eras.
The next Star Wars Battlefront will be released in late 2017, with EA planning to release more information on the game in the coming months. Those who are critical of 2015’s Star Wars Battlefront will be glad that the series will be gaining a single-player campaign, with a new Star Wars story that will likely span through several time periods within the series.
Some hope that the game will regain the popular “Galactic Conquest” modes that were present in the original series, a move which will add some much-needed additional content to this sequel.
Star Wars Battlefront 2015 was a mixed bag for gamers, providing spectacular visuals but a severe lack of content for its full retail price. Many were disappointed that the game lacked any form of Single Player story mode, which is something that it looks like EA are actively working to address with Star Wars Battlefront’s 2017 release.
