The first Project Cars 2 In-Engine game trailer has leaked online, showcasing seasonal transitions, dynamic weather effects and puddles that grow with rainfall.

Slightly Mad Studios, the developers behind Project Cars, have not revealed much information about the new game, though the game is said to have over 50 locations and over 200 tracks and 8 different racing disciplines. Below is the game’s recently leaked in-engine game trailer, which showcases a lot of new features within the game.

This sequel will build on the foundations of the original game, with several modifications to the game’s rendering system and physics already being in place. It has also been suggested that the game will feature a new co-op career mode and several new online community events like online “track days”.

Project Cars is set to release on PC, Xbox One and PS4 sometime in late 2017, with Slightly Mad Studios setting no firm release date.
