Transistor will be the Epic Games Store’s next free game

Epic Games wants you to use their Storefront, and to do that the company has to major strategies. First off, they have plans to offer their users a free game every two weeks, and secondly, they plan to secure launcher installs through both the popularity of Fortnite and thanks to 3rd party timed exclusives like Borderlands 3 and Metro Exodus.  

Right now, The Witness is currently available for free on the Epic Games Store, but in two weeks Supergiant Games’ Transistor will be free to PC gamers who use Windows-based systems. 

Supergiant Games’ is best-known for Bastion, an action role-playing title with a killer soundtrack and excellently voice-acted story. All of Supergiant’s games have been highly regarded so far, including Hades, which is currently available on the Epic Games Store in early access.

Transistor is Supergiant’s second game, receiving high review scores from a number of gaming websites while securing over 48,000 soundtrack sales within ten days of release. On April 18th, Transistor will be available for free on the Epic Games Store.
