Ubisoft Confirms Watch Dogs Legion’s existence following leak

Watch Dogs Legion is now official, with Ubisoft confirming on Twitter that the game will be revealed at E3 2019. This reveal is likely to take place at Ubisoft’s press conference on Monday, June 10th.

So far, all that Ubisoft has said about the game is “God Save the NPCs”, a phrase which seemingly confirms the game’s rumoured London setting, referencing the phrase “God Save the Queen” while simultaneously referencing the ability to control or play as any NPC within the game, a rumoured feature of Watch Dogs Legion.

Previous leaks for Watch Dogs Legion have listed the game’s setting as a near-future dystopian London, a “post-Brexit” setting where politics and technology have heavily influenced the lives of Londoners.

Below is a description of Watch Dogs Legion’s setting;

    Watch_Dogs Legion is set in a near-future, dystopian version of London. It’s a post-Brexit world in which society, politics and technology have changed and altered London’s fortunes. London is one of the most iconic cities in the world and has had a massive influence on all of Western Culture for centuries… London makes total sense for WD, as the city has one of the highest surveillce (sic) levels in the world making this the perfect playground.

Ubisoft will officially reveal their next Watch Dogs game at E3 2019. Ubisoft’s E3 Press Conference will start on Monday, June 10th at 9 PM BST.
