Ubisoft releases Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey’s PC system requirements
Like Assassin’s Creed Origins, Odyssey will feature an integrated benchmarking mode as well as a range of graphical options that are not available to console users, offering a level of customisability that is now commonplace amongst AAA Ubisoft releases.
All of Odyssey’s PC system requirements are designed with 30FPS gameplay in mind, which means that PC gamers will require more powerful hardware if they want to push 60FPS framerates or higher. Like the console versions, the PC release of Assassin’s Creed odyssey offers players a dynamic resolution option, which can adjust the game’s resolution to maintain a high framerate.
We are very pleased to share with you today some more information on the PC specs for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. As was already the case for Assassin’s Creed Origins, the PC version is not a port of the console versions of the game, but a tailored experience developed by a dedicated team at Ubisoft Kiev in close collaboration with Ubisoft Québec, the lead studio on Odyssey.
Having a dedicated team on the PC version allows us to offer the level of customization that PC players expect, which will enable them to adapt the experience to their PC configuration. The PC version of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will also include unique features not found in the console versions, such as benchmark tools to test the different graphics settings, and a toggle option for dynamic resolution rendering to uncap the framerate.
Below are Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s PC system requirements, which are designed for 720p 30FPS at Low settings, 1080p 30FPS at High Settings and 4K 30FPS at High settings. The game is set to take up 46GB of HDD space when installed.
