Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is now launching on September 9th 2024

Space Marine 2 now has a new release date and a new trailer

Last month, Focus Home Interactive announced that Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 had been delayed until 2024. Now, the company has dropped a new trailer for the game and have confirmed that it will be launching on September 9th 2024.

For Warhammer 40,000 fans, Space Marine 2 is easily one of the most highly anticipated game releases of 2024. The original is considered a classic by fans of the franchise. Gamers are excited to once again step into the boots of one of the Emperor’s finest warriors.

Within the game’s newest trailer, we can see Space Marines battling against hordes of Tyranids. We also see marines fighting the Chaotic forces of Tzeentch. Yes, players will be battling against Chaos in Space Marine 2. The Thousand Sons Chaos Space Marine Legion being antagonists within the game. Like the first Space Marine game, humanity will be fighting on two fronts.

Warhammer 40K Space Marine II is releasing on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. The game will feature a 3-player co-op campaign at launch, thought the game will also be playable in singleplayer mode. On PC, Space Marine II will feature support for AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 technology. This means that the game will support Frame Generation on all modern graphics cards.

On PC, Space Marine II will be available through Steam. Currently, the game’s PC system requirements are unknown. It is currently unknown if the game will support Nvidia’s DLSS technology at launch.
