What Remains of Edith Finch is now Free on the Epic Games Store
Alongside gaining the support of developers and publisher, Epic Games needs to win the support of the PC gaming community at large, opening their storefront with the promise of a free game every two weeks, already giving PC gamers free copies of Subnautica and Super Meat Boy. Now, Epic Games is giving away free copies of What Remains of Edith Finch, the 2017 classic that won the UK BAFTA for “Best Game” in early 2018 as well as the “Best Narrative” award during 2017’s The Game Awards.Â
For the next two weeks, starting today, What Remains of Edith Finch will be available for free on the Epic Games Store, allowing Windows users to access the game with just an Epic Games account. Note that the Epic Games Store only supports Windows-powered operating systems at the time of writing, though this isn’t a negative factor, as What Remains of Edith Finch is only available on PC for Windows users.Â
Â
