You can now see exactly how much you have spent on Steam
Over this time Steam has become famous for their sales events, with the vast majority of AAA PC games releasing on the platform, which means that most users of the application have spent an extremely large amount of money on the service.
Before now, some services have been able to estimate the value of your Steam account, but now Valve has released an official tool that calculates your Steam account spending. Note that this only considers the money that has been added to Steam from external sources, so the value of 3rd party game key redemptions is not considered here, which will significantly reduce Valve’s final spending figures for a lot of users. Â
Here’s a link to Valve’s “External Funds Used” webpage, if you dare to find out how much you have spent directly on Steam over the years.Â

Leaked data from SteamDatabase has suggested that Valve’s Steam Summer Sale will start sometime tomorrow, beginning at approximately 9.55 am PST and 5.55 pm BST, giving PC gamers a new opportunity to add some extra money to their Steam spending.Â
