The first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI has landed, and it looks fantastic

Grand Theft Auto VI is launching in 2025

Rockstar Games have released their first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, revealing that the game is due to be released in 2025. Rockstar released the trailer ahead of schedule, following a leak of the trailer on social media.

The trailer itself confirms information that was leaked last year. Grand Theft Auto VI will feature two protagonists, with the game’s female lead being Lucia. The game’s two protagonists act as a Bonnie and Clyde like couple, with GTA 6 taking place in Vice City.

Below you can watch Grand Theft Auto 6’s new trailer.

Vice City is a fictional Miami-like setting that features a lot of neon lights, wild allegators, and everything that you would expect from a new GTA title. Based on the trailer, GTA 6 features visuals that are far ahead of GTA V. The game appears to feature huge NPC counts, much more environmental detail, and much more detailed characters. This is certainly a current-gen only game. This game will not be coming to PS4 of Xbox One.

Rockstar has confirmed that GTA 6 will be launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. So far, there is no mention of a PC version. It is probable that Rockstar will release a PC version of GTA VI at a later date. This is a common tactic from Rockstar, and it has been used for GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 previously. Both games were huge hits on PC, so it wouldn’t make sense for Rockstar to skip PC with GTA VI.
