be quiet Dark Rock 6 and Dark Rock 6 Pro CPU cooler Review

Up Close with the Dark Rock 6 Pro

Meet the Dark Rock 6 Pro

The Dark Rock 6 Pro is notably larger than the standard Dark Rock 6. It features two fans, one 135mm and one 120mm, and features a dual-tower heatsink design. Overall, both CPU coolers have a similar aesthetic, though the larger size of the Pro model makes it feel more substantial inside a PC.

Like the Dark Rock 6, the Pro model features a nickel-plated base and a small fin stack on its mounting plate. The cooler has the same mounting system as its smaller counterpart. Thankfully, be quiet supplies these coolers with a long screwdriver for mounting.

The middle fan on the Dark Rock 6 Pro is easily removable, making it easy for users to install the cooler and clean its central fan when required.

At the rear of the cooler is its P/Q switch, which can enable the cooler’s semi-passive fan mode.
