Corsair H115i Elite 280mm AIO Review

Corsair H115i Elite 280mm AIO Review

Introduction

There is no doubt that Corsair range of AIOs is amongst the best around, with everything from the famous H50 that started it all, up to the Elite Capellix 360 models that bring everything you could hope to find to the cooling of your processor.

For most of us the sweet spot lies somewhere between these two models. After all, a 120mm radiator isn’t quite enough to keep things cool and quiet – particularly in the current heatwave – whilst a 360mm radiator is all well and good if you’ve got the room inside your case to fit it and the funds to purchase it.

Perhaps a 280mm model is the nice balance between good cooling and affordability, and to this end the latest Corsair model we have in the office is their H115i Elite. With an RGB pump head providing all the flash and flair, whilst two non-RGB fans and the radiator itself do the heavy lifting of keeping your processor cool. With an MSRP of under £150 it promises to be a popular choice amongst those of you with good processors, but who aren’t attempting to cool an overclocked Threadripper.

There is only one way to find out, so let’s cast our eye over it and then see how it performed in our testing with the Core i9-9900K.
