Lian Li has taken its original O11D Mini to the next level
The Lian Li O11D V2 is a second-generation case design. It takes the original O11D Mini and enhances it to provide PC builders with a better experience. The case is bigger than its predecessor, but only marginally so. Lian Li has utilised this extra space to deliver increased versatility, providing the case with better liquid cooling support and stronger cooling potential.
Another great factor of this V2 design is that it’s more affordable than its predecessor. Currently, this case’s V1 version, the O11 Dynamic Mini, is available for £91.99. This case’s modern incarnation is available for as little as £75.95.
Lian Li’s improved design allows its new V2 case to support full-sized ATX power supplies. This makes building a PC inside this case more affordable, as ATX PSUs typically cost less than their SFX and SFX-L counterparts. Furthermore, top-mounted 240mm and 360mm liquid coolers are supported with ATX motherboards. This option wasn’t available for this case’s last-generation version. Moreover, this case chips with a vertical GPU mount. Its predecessor has this as an add-on.
It’s not size that matters, it’s how you use it
This case is slightly larger than its predecessor, but its available space is used much more effectively. Lian Li has transformed its original O11D Mini to make it more versatile, affordable, and feature-rich. That’s a win-win-win for PC builders.
With an asking price of £75.95, this case is a bargain. For its more expensive “Flow” variant, which includes five reverse-blade fans for less than £10 extra, Lian Li has created one of the best fan/case packages of 2025. The O11D Mini V2 is value-focused, but it remains a premium product. Lian Li has considered the needs of PC builders and has created something awesome. It’s refreshing to see such an excellent case become available at such a low price. For that reason, the Lian Li O11D Mini V2 has received our OC3D Value For Money Award.
