NZXT H510 Elite Review

Stripped, Instructions and Accessories.

Let’s be honest, there’s not actually a lot to strip off the Elite, but what there is, is a bit of git to remove.  So bad was it that we actually had to read the instructions only to find that they were poorly printed and didn’t really make any sense what so ever, so were of little use.  So confusing were they that for a while it looked liked we had to remove the front glass panel to be able to remove the side glass panel, but that is physically impossible as the side panel covers the screws which we later found once taken out enable the removal of the front panel.  

  

 

With the front glass panel removed we get better access to the fans and indeed get our first real look  at the beautiful pair of 140mm Aer RGB2 fans.  From the picture below, you can also see that they come mounted on a removable tray which makes the fitting of fans and rads much easier.

  

 

The instructions are poorly printed onto a massive sheet of paper. The language isn’t clear and the diagrams are confusing at best.  NZXT, we are not amused.

  

 

Although minimalist, the accessories are quite welcomed.  You do of course get all the screws you’ll need, along with a good handful of cable ties, an adapter/extender for the motherboard I/O and a headphone jack splitter which enables the single 3.5mm jack socket on the front I/O to be used as both headphone and microphone.
