We’ve said until we’re blue in the face that when it comes to gaming it doesn’t matter how many cores you have because you’re always GPU limited. Which is also why we say that if you’re on a tight budget it’s far better to plough money into the GPU than get the next CPU up. At the detail levels of modern games a stock Ryzen 5 1400 scores 50 points fewer than a stock i7-6950X. Otherwise known as “nothing you’ll notice”.
