With limited TDP and the rather strange 20° offset you can’t rely on the automatic Turbo Boost to get you some beefy clock speeds. Instead you have to take some tinkering around in the BIOS to make sure that all the cores are running fast at all times. Sure the Turbo Boost can push a single core past the 4 GHz we have obtained here, but that is only a single core. We’ve got 4 GHz across all eight cores and, as we’ll see on the following pages, that makes a heavy difference in the results.
