The pre-launch BIOS of the Strix F seems to have a slight issue with the Loadline Calibration and so our voltages are higher than we’d like to see, particularly under heavy loading. Fortunately this is something ASUS are working to fix either for launch or just after, so if you find yourself purchasing this particular model then keep a close eye on their support pages for an update.
Despite that though the B450 chipset in this format makes for a great overclocking option. If the results stand up to scrutiny and reflect the CPU-Z then this could be a serious contender to challenge some X470 motherboards. Let’s find out.
