ASUS ROG Strix X470-F Gaming Preview
Up Close part 3
Wrapping up with the main connectivity options and the Strix has six 6Gb/s SATA ports to cope with your storage requirements. Around the back on the IO section we find the DisplayPort and HDMI display outputs, USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 in both Type-A and Type-C versions, along with the usual Gigabit LAN and audio ports.
Lastly the lighting of the Strix, in it’s full ASUS AURA Sync RGB trousers. We like the swappable chipset heatsink but it does seem to need to be much brighter than it is. Whether it’s a side effect of our pre-release sample, or the way that it is designed, but in comparison to the ROG logo it doesn’t seem to let as much light through as something that showy needs.
We’ll bring you the full review of the ASUS ROG Strix X470-F Gaming next week, until then discuss your thoughts in our OC3D Forums.
