The Z390 chipset and ROG combination has proved to be extremely consistent in our overclocking efforts and the Hero is no exception. The latest Core i9-9900K might have 16 threads needing feeding but the power phases on the Hero are more than a match for that requirement and push it all the way to 5 GHz.
