Overclocking

So far we’ve had some pretty high end motherboards to work with and they’ve all squeezed 4.4 GHz from our test Ryzen 9 3900X. The Strix-F and MSI Mortar topped out at 4.35 GHz and the TUF Plus continues that trend of the more affordable options not quite getting everything from our CPU, even if 50 MHz a thread is hardly a massive disparity. Our results will show how much, so let’s get down to some benchmarking.
