It doesn’t seem two minutes ago we were having our jaws dropped by RAID0 setups that could push 1 GB/s and now with PCI Express 4.0 we’ve got 5 GB/s as if it is nothing at all. It’s probably the most impressive element of modern technology. Now if only it could be utilised on our next-gen consoles we wouldn’t wait a fortnight for things to load.
