Gigabyte X870 Aorus Elite WiFi7 Review

CPU Temperatures
Our CPU temperature testing is a juxtaposition between best and worst case scenarios. We run a seriously heavyweight CPU cooler, which shows the best use case, and then torture the system for 30 minutes to get our peak reading. Otherwise known as the worst case scenario. The AMD Ryzen 9 9900X is a very good balance between extreme performance and relatively sane temperatures. It’s a mile ahead of the 14th Gen Intel offerings.
The X870 Aorus Elite fits right into the middle of the pack. What we especially love is how cool the Ryzen 9000 series run in comparison to the Intels. This is 25°C cooler on the same cooling and without us fiddling around undervolting.
