Gigabyte Z270X Gaming 7 Review

Gigabyte Z270X Gaming 7

Software

The software package follows the BIOS in being neatly arranged and clearly labelled. Everything is where you would expect to find it, does what you want it to do, and does it with the minimum of fuss. If we had a minor complaint it is that, like so many companies, Gigabyte documentation for their software is depressingly thin on the ground. The Gaming 7 is supplied with oodles of programs, but only a few of them are actually important for keeping an eye on – and customising – your system. The OSD in particular is brilliant, with loads of options enabling you to watch every single bit of your system. Obviously you aren’t going to run with it on all the time, but in those early days when you’re sorting out your overclocking and checking temperatures, it is a boon.
