Cryptographic bandwidth was recently adjusted in the latest versions of Sandra, and it doesn’t seem to take into account the hyper-threading on our i7-4770K as the results perfectly match that of the i5-4670K. Either that or the i5 is a cryptography beast.

We’ve only had three motherboards that have cracked 165 seconds for the billion place wPrime95 test and all of them are from Gigabyte, the Sniper M5, OC and today’s G1.Sniper respectively. Certainly if you want low scores in wPrime then it’s clear which brand to go for.
