Gigabyte X58-OC Preview

Closing Thoughts

Right then my overclocking comrades, this is where our journey together ends for now. I need to lock myself away in a darkened temperature controlled room surrounded by PSU’s and GPU’s and a wide selection of hexcores to torture. I can honestly say it’s very rarely a piece of hardware gets me this excited and willing to pull all nighters in the search of seeing what it is truly capable of. I’m in no delusion that the weakest link will be me, I’m not an overclocking professional by any means. Sure I can navigate my way around a BIOS and max most CPU’s on air fairly quickly but this motherboard is built to go way, way beyond that point. All we can do is hope I at least get it a little out of breath!

I think its time we take a look at the video for even more kilt tilting goodness!

So with a board that looks good and has so many features crammed onto the spec list its now my job to try and do it justice. Only time will tell if I have the skills to even get this board up to a running pace!

I’m not going to go into what I have planned, you will just have to keep an eye on YouTube and our FaceBook page for sneaky updates on how things are looking. A massive thanks to Gigabyte for the opportunity to get hold of the board while its still virgin fresh. I have to admit I’m hoping to corrupt this into an overclocking nympho over the coming weeks though *wink wink*

As ever you can also discuss what you think of the board and my excited babblings in our forums.
