As we step up into a more modern take on the idea of video encoding, the two Intel CPUs gain significant ground on even the monster AMD Threadripper. Admittedly the 1080 and 2160 results aren’t quite as glowing, but given how popular 720P is as a video format for sharing content and how affordable the i3 and i5 are, it shouldn’t be dismissed.
