That trend continues into Blender. The extra speed of the stock Core i9-9980XE allows it to best the i9-7980XE, whilst the overclocked processors are much closer than their clock speeds might lead you to believe. It’s worth noting that the 2990WX has twice the cores and threads of the Intel options but doesn’t get twice the performance. The 24 cores of the 2970WX are also just enough to sneak ahead of the 18 core i9-9980XE, which shows how good each Intel core is relative to its Ryzen rival.
