PC Mark

Things are extremely close in PC Mark. Vantage gives the edge to the i7-4790K, and PC Mark 7 just shades towards the i7-4770K. Considering the clock speed difference between the two CPUs, that’s a very good level of performance available from the Haswell refresh. The extra stock speed really shows its colours here too, with a bog standard i7-4790K running the big overclocks close.
