3D Mark provides us with a beautiful demonstration of our oft-quoted maxim that spending more on your GPU than your CPU is a wise thing. Sure the monster CPU power available helps the Cloud Gate preset, but the moment you hit 1080P gaming with detail levels that replicate modern titles the difference between a i7-5960X and a i7-4790K are minimal.
