ASUS ROG Strix Gaming RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti Review
Test Setup
As we have done since our first review of the RTX cards, today we’ll be sorting our graphs by the 4K result. These two GPUs are very much the flagship nVidia products, and so seeing how they perform at 1080P, when lots of cards already have plentiful performance there, would be pointless. Nobody is spending the thick end of a grand of a GPU to run it on a 15″ monitor.

Overclocking
RTX 2080
Of the two types of Turing GPU, the TU104 that beats at the heart of the RTX 2080 overclocks a little higher and harder than the TU102 that is found in the RTX 2080Ti. The ASUS Strix take upon it continues this trend.
RTX 2080Ti
Whilst the RTX 2080 might be similar in clock speeds to the nVidia and MSI take upon the breed, the Strix RTX 2080Ti manages to clock a reasonable amount further than we’ve seen up to now. This is best shown on our clock speed graph on the next page, so read on.
