Overclocking

So in our quest to discover if a heavily overclocked GTX970 can run a GTX980 close, the Strix proves itself to be the perfect test bed. As if the factory speeds weren’t high enough, we squeezed another 200MHz from the Maxwell GPU core, and another 100MHz from the GDDR5.

Remember when a 1GHz GPU core was something to shout about from the rooftops…?
