Catzilla Now Supports 4K – Flagship GPU Performance Review

 

We can see in our table below that Nvidia’s GTX 980Ti wins the day in AllPlayer’s Catzilla Benchmarking tool, offering at least 10% more performance than AMD’s R9 Fury X at all resolutions.

 

 

Conclusion

One problem with Catzilla over the past year has been its lack of 4K support in its standard benchmarking suite, limiting the tool to only be used for lower resolutions for simple apples to apples comparisons.

It is great to see AllPlayer updating this tool with this additional functionality, so much so that we are considering adding this benchmark tool back into our regular GPU test suite in the future. When to comes to giving accurate data in our reviews performance on a wide range of tools and games is something that is exceptionally important.
