Dead Rising PC Performance Review

Visually speaking Dead Rising looks the same as it always did, though the increase in resolution to 4K does showcase some surprisingly high-resolution assets as well as a lot of textures that have not aged well over the last 10-years.
This is easily the best-looking version of Dead Rising that we have ever seen, though that is not saying much given the fact that the original Xbox 360 version ran at 720p 30FPS.
On modern hardware, Dead Rising does run at 1080p 60+FPS with ease, even with 8xMSAA, with modern GPUs like the GTX 1060 or the RX 480 running at 4K 60Hz without much trouble.
The visuals of Dead Rising are very dated, but that is to be expected from a 10-year-old game, even if this PC version is new. Dead Rising has always been about the gameplay, so I think that most gamers will be able to see past this game’s aesthetic.
