Hitman PC Performance Review

4K Testing with AMD R9 Fury X and Nvidia GTX 980Ti

 When moving up to 4K we can see that AMD’s performance advantage at 1440p moves to become sheer dominance, showing just how capable AMD’s Fury X GPU is when playing at high resolutions. 

AMD’s R9 Fury X has minimum framerates in Hitman’s Paris mission that almost surpass our GTX 980Ti’s average framerates, which is a very impressive feat for AMD. This game is an AMD Gaming Evolved title, so great AMD performance on AMD is expected, but the dominance shown here is almost unheard of in other recent gaming titles.

When compare performance to last month’s Hitman beta we can see that performance has greatly improved, so much so that the average performance that we got in the beta is very similar to the minimum performance for this newly released version of the game.
