With F1 2018 we’re running TAA anti-aliasing, 16x Anisotropic Filtering and the Ultra High preset which includes Ultra High shadows, HBAO+ ambient occlusion and those frame-rate sapping Ultra High weather effects.

I’d get used to this pattern of results if I were you, as you’ll be seeing a lot of it. Although there is barely a frame here and there at lower resolutions – largely CPU bound we’d wager – at 4K the MSI Gaming X Trio has enough to pull ahead of the nVidia cards.
