Test Setup

So that we can have an accurate comparison we’ve tested the GTX 1080 on our old Windows 7 GPU test rig. This is the last hurrah for this particular arrangement as we’ll be moving on to Windows 10 for all future tests.

Overclocking

We will be putting the GTX 1080 through its full overclocking paces when we start getting the partner cards, but for the time being here is a sneak preview of the kind of speeds you can expect to see. Yes, that’s 2.07GHz from the GPU Core Clock. If that doesn’t whet your appetite then we don’t know what will.
